RETURN, EXCHANGE & REFUND POLICY

 At Nilvi Silks, we take utmost care to ensure the quality of every saree. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Return & Exchange Timeframe
• Return or exchange requests must be raised within 10 days of receiving the order.
• Requests raised after this period will not be accepted.
• All requests must be made through our official communication channels.
2. Product Condition

For a return or exchange to be accepted:
• The saree must be in its original packaging
• Original tags must be intact
• The saree must be unused, unwashed, and unaltered
• Sarees without tags or showing signs of use will not be accepted

3. Products Eligible for Exchange
• Only sarees are eligible for return or exchange.


4. Non-Returnable & Non-Exchangeable Items

The following are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund:
• Customized or made-to-order sarees
• Pre-draped sarees
• Sarees purchased during sale or clearance
• Gift cards, gift boxes, or gift wrapping
• Any product explicitly marked as non-returnable

5. Sale Items
• Sarees purchased during sales or special offers are non-refundable.
• In select cases, an exchange or store credit may be offered at Nilvi Silks’ discretion.

6. Purchase Location
• Sarees purchased online can only be returned or exchanged online.
• Sarees purchased at exhibitions or offline events are eligible only for store credit, if approved.

7. Exchange Policy
• Only one exchange is permitted per order.
• Once an item has been exchanged, it cannot be exchanged again.
• If the customer wishes to return the exchanged saree, only a credit note will be issued.
• Exchanges are allowed only for one saree (no multiple items).
• If exchanging for a higher-value saree, the price difference must be paid.
• If exchanging for a lower-value saree, the difference will be issued as a credit note.
• Cash on Delivery (COD) is not available for exchange orders.

8. Credit Note
• Credit notes are valid for 1 year from the date of issue.
• Credit notes cannot be encashed or transferred.

9. Reverse Pickup / Self-Shipping
• If reverse pickup is unavailable at your location, you will be required to self-ship the saree.
• A maximum of ₹150 will be issued as a credit note towards reverse shipping upon approval.

10. Refund Policy
• Refunds are initiated only after the returned saree is received and passes our quality check.
• Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days.
• Refunds will be made to the original mode of payment.
• Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable.

11. Damaged or Defective Sarees
• If you receive a damaged or defective saree, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
• Clear images or videos of the issue must be shared for verification.
• After verification, Nilvi Silks may offer a replacement, refund, or credit note, at its discretion.

12. International Orders
• Currently, returns, exchanges, or refunds are not available for international orders.
• Orders must be cancelled before dispatch to receive a refund.
• Once shipped, international orders cannot be cancelled or refunded.
• If a defective saree is received, please contact us immediately with order details and images. A refund or credit note may be issued after review. No replacement will be sent.
