Returns & Exchange

All products are pre-checked for quality and defects before shipping. Despite our best efforts, if you receive a product that is damaged, please email our customer care team within 24 hours of delivery to initiate the return process. The decision to accept returns rests solely with the NILVI SILKS team.

Return Eligibility

• Once products are shipped, returns will not be accepted unless the product is received in a damaged condition or is defective as outlined below.

• If the customer dislikes the product or changes their mind after placing the order, the item is not eligible for exchange or cancellation.

• Product images are taken under neutral lighting, and we strive to reproduce colors as accurately as possible. However, variations can occur due to monitor/device display settings. Returns or exchanges are not accepted for minor color differences between the product image and the received item.

Return Conditions

• Products must be returned in their original condition and packaging to be eligible for a refund or exchange.

• This is a non-negotiable policy.

• Once NILVI SILKS approves your return request, please allow 5–7 business days for the refund to be processed and credited to your original payment method.

• Only one exchange per order is allowed. Multiple or repeated exchange requests will not be entertained.

Understanding Handloom Inconsistencies

Handloom sarees are artisanal products and may include natural variations which are not considered defects:

• Small knots or bumps where threads have been tied together.

• Uneven thread joints between the border and the body.

• Slubs – small thread bundles that appear as tiny linear knots.

• Minor gaps or missing lines in the body, pallu, or around motifs.

• Dyed threads blending into the pallu with zari threads – this may appear like color bleeding but is a result of handloom weaving.

These characteristics are a mark of authenticity, not flaws.

Color Disclaimer

• Saree colors are described based on the warp and weft threads used.

• When two different hues are woven together, they can appear as a different color in images. For example, brown and red threads may appear maroon.

• If you are uncertain about the color, feel free to email us for a video or schedule a video call so we can assist you before your purchase.

What We DO Consider Defects

• A tear in the saree where there is no visible interwoven silk thread for over 20mm

• Incorrect length from the stated product description

• Missing blouse piece, if it was mentioned as part of the saree
